Thanks for popping by and welcome to head4fitness.  The aim of this blog is to bring together our passions for a healthy lifestyle and we hope that you enjoy looking through our posts.  Please feel free to comment and let us know what you think.

We are a husband and wife team who want to help and inspire others through our knowledge and personal experiences.  We don’t class ourselves as ‘experts’ by any means but we are passionate about our beliefs and want to share them in the hope of inspiring others. We are by no means perfect and have our ups and downs like everyone else and we’re not afraid to admit it.  We embarked on a 100% plant based lifestyle in Sep 16  which we love and we enjoy sharing our recipes when we can.  We also understand the importance of personal development to help us live a more authentic and fulfilling life.

So here is a little about us as individuals:

I’m Rob, an ex-military Physical Training Instructor with over 20 years’ experience of coaching and instructing at all levels from novice through to Olympic standard athletes.  I hold a number of coacing and instructing qualifications including:

  • L3 Personal Trainer
  • BTF L1 Triathlon Coach
  • Wattbike Master Trainer
  • Swimming Teacher
  • Concept 2 Rower Instructor
  • UKSCA Associate

I am also academically qualified with BSc (Hons) Sport Science and MSc Sports and Exercise Physiology and specialise in heart rate training.  My training ethos is simple – never give up and you will achieve the unthinkable.

I’m Tracee, the nutritionist of the family and the backbone to healthy eating within our household.  I haves a huge passion for cooking and ensuring that I provide nutritious, healthy meals for my family and me.  I love nothing more than exploring the internet to look for healthier substitutes for foods and tweaking recipes to make them plant based.  I want to show everyone that you don’t have to break the bank to create healthy, nutritious and delicious meals that the whole family can enjoy.  I hope you enjoy the recipes that I share on this blog as much as I enjoy putting them on here.
