Day Three of the 30 Day Challenge is upon us and we are going to step it up a little (excuse the pun!). For those who are still unsure, this Challenge is about changing your lifestyle to incorporate exercise as part of your healthy living. It may (hopefully) increase your fitness levels, but it is mainly about getting you out and giving yourself some time to work on bringing exercise into your life and forming an exercise habit.
The first two days have just been about getting out and today is no different. However, today we up the intensity a little (or a lot if you are up for the challenge?).
Day Three – 30 min power walk. Today I want you to really concentrate on getting the most of the 30 min walk. Concentrate on really walking with vigour. You have to make sure that you stay focused and do not just treat this as a normal walk. It is a walk where you are going to focus on maintaining a ‘faster than normal’ walking pace. Ensure that you maintain your walking posture. Concentrate on keeping your head up, shoulders back and walk like you mean it. Be proud of the fact that you are out there today. Enjoy your surroundings, but also begin to enjoy the exercising too.
