A year ago I published the first 30 Day Challenge; six months later, the second. Well, IT’S BACK!!
The 30 Day Challenge is aimed at getting you out and beginning to use exercise as part of your healthy lifestyle. It is not aimed at making a massive impact on your weight loss, or fitness journey (hopefully it will make some impact!). It is here to try and get you to make a new habit in your road to a healthier you.
In it’s simplest form, the 30 Day Challenge is about taking 30 minutes each day to perform exercise. Getting you outside and completing the training for that day. I like to classify the 30 minutes of training as ‘me time’. It is your time to look after yourself through exercise.
Day One – We will start off nice and easy today. Go for a walk. Take yourself outside and walk for 30 min. Concentrate on being mindful of your surroundings and go out and enjoy what you are doing. It’s not about going out and getting sweaty (at the moment!), but feel free to push yourself whilst you are walking. If you even fancy having a little jog as you go around then do it. Bottom line – take 30 min of ‘me time’ and go do some exercise.
As the 30 Day Challenge progresses, there will be times when the exercise gets harder and you will have to push yourself. Please make sure that you are healthy enough to undertake exercise and if you have any doubts, consult your doctor before you start.
Have a fit and healthy day and see you tomorrow.
